Happy New Year 2012

Dear Residents,

The year has finally come to an end. As we celebrate our seasons festivities, I would like to thank all of you for your tremendous support given to me and my team of volunteers who have worked hard to serve the residents of Kebun Baru. This was an exciting year with the general elections held in May and the presidential elections in August. Many issues were raised during the two elections leading to what everyone is saying is a new normal in Singapore. Whatever the issues, my main objective is to serve the residents of Kebun Baru and Ang Mo Kio to help improve their lives and make the living environment as pleasant as possible. I will continue to try my best to work towards this objective. I am grateful to the team of volunteers and grassroots leaders who have been working hard to achieve this objective. Without the help of this group of dedicated people it would have been difficult to do the many things we have done in our constituency. I urge residents to come forward and join in the many activities we organize each year. Please feel free to contact me for any suggestions and feedback you would like to give me. Let me once again thank all of you for your support and I look forward to meeting as many residents as possible the year ahead. Let me take the opportunity to wish all residents and volunteers and friends a Happy New Year and also let me wish good health, success and happiness to all of you. Thank you.
